Application of EDAS Method for Multi-criteria Decision Making in Grinding SKD11 Tool Steel with CBN Wheel
摘要
In order to grind SKD11 steel using a CBN wheel effectively, a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) study is introduced in this work. In the study, the MCDM task has been done with the use of the EDAS approach, and the weighting of the criterion was determined using the Entropy technique. The surface roughness (RS) and material removal speed (MRS) have been chosen as criteria for this task. Additionally, an investigation utilizing design L18 (61 + 33) has been conducted utilizing Taguchi technique. Also, four process factors have been analyzed: the wheel diameter d (mm), the feed rate Fe (mm/min.), the wheel speed Rpm (rpm), and the depth of the dressing cut aed (mm). The investigation outcomes were used to determine the greatest experimental regime.
