A Survey of Efficiency of Wheel Slip Prevention Controlled for Diesel Engine Truck Under Poor Pavement Conditions
摘要
The slip phenomenon of the driving wheel reduces mobility of vehicle. This study applies a controller for driving wheel slip prevention system (DWSPS) of the dump truck using traditional high-pressure fuel pump (HPP) diesel engine. The control method in this study is to control the diesel engine torque values through the actuator equipped on the throttle cable. The equations of longitudinal motion of the dump truck are set up for the evaluation of the vehicle’s acceleration criterions under poor pavement conditions. The total slip time of the driving wheel (DW) (λ > 30%) and time to reach speed vx are selected as indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of the controller for the vehicle’s acceleration with variable diesel engine loads.
