摘要

This paper presents the results of a multi-objective optimization study on the dressing process in surface grinding Hardox 500. For this effort, two single objectives were chosen: minimal surface roughness (SR) and maximum wheel life (WL). Furthermore, the following dressing parameters were investigated: rough dressing depth Tr, rough dressing times Nr, fine dressing depth Tf, fine dressing times Nf, and non-feeding dressing Nnon. The influence of these elements on the objective of the grinding process was evaluated. Furthermore, an ideal dressing mode for increasing MRR while decreasing SR was proposed. The suggested model has been reported to be useful.
