摘要

Understanding the physiology of intracranial pressure is critical to developing sound management plans for intracranial hypertension. The principles of treatment are based on a multitude of complex interactions between pathophysiological processes. Molecular, cellular, tissue, and organ pathologies vary according to the primary insult, but management of intracranial hypertension and its causes is crucial for the reduction of further injury, debility, and death.
