Clinical Neuroimaging in the Intensive Care Unit
摘要
Neurological emergencies involve a vast range of neurological diseases from acute ischemia to intracerebral hemorrhage, infection, herniation, or edema that require immediate assessment and management to prevent irreversible injury. Many of these disease processes require close monitoring in the intensive care unit. Neuroimaging is not only a critical tool in diagnosis, but also is paramount in informing prognosis and guiding management. This chapter focuses on highlighting hallmark radiologic features of high-yield neurological disease states on different neuroimaging modalities to optimize clinical care.
