The Functional Organization of the Nervous System
摘要
The nervous system is organized in such a way that a careful history and physical examination will almost always allow the clinician to localize the site of disease. This requires basic knowledge of the neurological exam and the anatomy that underlies that exam. In this chapter, we will review the examination of mental status, cranial nerves, and motor, reflex, and sensory systems. We will then illustrate the application of those exams in multiple example cases.
