Technologies for Electronic Document Management in the Enterprise

The reasons for the development of electronic document management as a scientific direction of document management are investigated. The characteristic of modern scientific research is provided. The processes of formation of the complex science of informatics, development of electronic computing equipment at the enterprise, implementation of automated control systems, information technologies, and signs of classification of electronic documents are analyzed. The introduction and expansion of modern information technologies open up opportunities for a qualitatively new organization of management communication and working processes with documents and information. In this regard, there is an increasing need to develop and apply new conceptual approaches in practice. Electronic document management should be viewed as a qualitatively new systemic phenomenon associated not only with technical, technological, documentary, and legal components but also with the development of the social and economic management system.
