Passing Drops and Descents
摘要
We consider generalizations of drops and descents from permutations to arrangements of sets with repetition. We also establish a generalization of Worpitzky’s identity in the special case when all elements in the set repeat equally often by way of counting passing patterns among jugglers in two different ways.
