Intelligent e-Learning Support Oriented on the Family of Decision Problems

The article describes: the structure, design stages of an intelligent support system oriented on families of decision problems and the functioning mode of the intelligent support system (ISS) e-Learning oriented on families of decision problems. ISS integrates a decision problem generator and a solver for automatic solving of decision problems with the help of artificial intelligence tools applied to mathematical models. The system assists the teaching process in the discipline “Decision Support Systems”. The software product can also assist decision-making processes in various fields of activity and, above all, in the economic one. When developing the intelligent e-Learning Support System, structure and content of the DSS course, the authors were largely guided by the experience exhibited in works developed by Filip (DSS—a class of evolving information systems.
