  • César Alonso Aguilar Mejía

摘要

The central objective of this chapter is to address the integration of various means and active therapeutic methods traditionally used in the treatment of neurodegenerative pathologies, with a particular focus on Parkinson’s disease. The goal is to delve into the science behind conventional therapeutic exercise and explore its effectiveness in managing motor and non-motor signs and symptoms associated with neurodegenerative diseases. Key points include physical activity, high-intensity training, disturbed training, occupational therapy, the REHACOP program (rehabilitation cognitivity program for psychosis), cueing, transcranial electrical stimulation, writing and strengthening exercises, physical therapy, dance, hatha yoga, therapeutic exercise through applications and software, long duration training combined with muscle strengthening, passive and active muscle electrical stimulation, speech therapy, music therapy, and reality orientation therapy. The detailed analysis of each method and medium will include an exploration of their effects as well as the appropriate dosage of exposure, providing a comprehensive overview of the therapeutic options available to improve the quality of life for patients affected by neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s.
