Interactive Park Experience Design in Urban Parks from Cross-Cultural Perspective: A Case Study of Shanghai Garden

In recent years, with the improvement of urban residents’ living standards and the acceleration of urbanization process, urban parks, as an important part of people’s livelihood construction, are an important symbol to measure residents’ happiness level. From the whole country to Shanghai, the construction of urban parks has changed from paying attention to scale to quality, and its cultural connotation and functional experience are also constantly developing and innovating. As a new design concept, interactive park experience design has become more important. Interactive park experience design focuses on culture, interaction, participation, sustainability and safety, and is concretized through modern technology and humanized design. Taking Shanghai Garden as an example, this paper discusses the relevant experience of interactive experience design, and puts forward the principles and inspirations of interactive experience design for urban parks.
