Tomorrow’s Attendance System
摘要
Conventional attendance tracking systems relying on card exhibit numerous limitations, with minimal innovation observed in recent years. In alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, various government entities have embraced digital transformation. Notably, there has been a shift towards integrating attendance tracking systems into the Tawakkalna application. The Tawakkalna application, initially developed by the Saudi Arabian government to manage the COVID-19 pandemic and ensure public safety, has evolved beyond its original purpose. This research explores the transition of the Tawakkalna application into a vehicle for digital transformation, particularly in the realm of attendance tracking. The study aims to understand employee perspectives on the digital transformation of attendance cards through a mixed-method approach comprising interviews and questionnaires. By gathering insights directly from employees, this research seeks to uncover their attitudes, concerns, and expectations regarding the integration of attendance tracking into the Tawakkalna application. Furthermore, the paper provides recommendations for integrating attendance tracking within the Tawakkalna application to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the system.
