This paper explores the impact of female presence on Boards of Directors, specifically focusing on the relationship between institutional ownership and the presence of women. It acknowledges the existence of fault lines when studying gender diversity and categorizes female directors into three groups: industry experts, advisors, and community leaders. Additionally, it examines the moderation role of governmental support in this relationship.
