Role of Fintech as an Enabler to Fulfill HR Requirements and Attain Sustainability

FinTech stands for financial technology and can largely impact business operations. The main purpose of the study is to analyze how FinTech impacts HR requirements and sustainability as the UN recognizes FinTech as one of the most important industries to facilitate the achievement of SDGs. The survey results of the research indicate that FinTech is significantly helping companies improve their corporate governance practices and the use of FinTech tools ensures better operational excellence that supports the business. FinTech can potentially help increase financial inclusion and promote equitable access to financial services by providing innovative and affordable financial solutions such as mobile banking, digital wallets, and microfinance services for underserved and unbanked populations. FinTech solutions can help overcome the physical and infrastructural barriers that often prevent individuals and small businesses from accessing traditional finance. Based on the survey responses, it appears that FinTech has the potential to bring about positive change in various aspects of the GCC region's economy, such as corporate governance, sustainability, ESG investment strategies, HR data analytics, and financial inclusion.
