Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) Sustainability Outcomes and UN Sustainable Development Goals: Role of Curriculum and Research and Innovation: A Conceptual Framework

The purpose of this study is to understand the influence of educational curriculum and research and innovation on the performance and sustainability outcomes of Higher Education Intuitions (HEIs). Also, this study aims at identifying the mediating role of HEIs’ performance between educational curriculum and research and innovation on the Sustainability Outcomes of HEIs. This study developed a conceptual framework based on critical review of the literature. Accordingly, educational curriculum and research and innovation sought as predictors for HEIs performance and Sustainability Outcomes. As well as the HEIs performance plays a mediate role that influences the relationship between educational curriculum and research and innovation on the Sustainability Outcomes of HEIs. This research will help in the delivery of knowledge to pave the way for empirical examination by researchers. Moreover, this study will induce the understanding of researchers, managers, and educators towards the concepts of the studied variables.
