Emerging Trends of Fintech Services in Industry 5.0 and Its Role in Achievement of SDGs: A Critical Review of Present Trends and Roadmap for Future Research Agenda

This review paper investigates the integration of Industry 5.0 principles in the FinTech services landscape, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of the transformative dynamics and future research opportunities at the intersection of advanced industry practices and financial technology. The primary aim is to critically evaluate the existing literature, identify gaps, and present a roadmap for future research endeavors. Findings from the review underscore the significant impact of Industry 5.0 on reshaping FinTech services, emphasizing collaboration, intelligence, and human–machine synergy. However, the analysis reveals notable gaps, including a lack of detailed exploration into the specific influences on distinct FinTech services, limited geographical diversity in the current literature, and theoretical frameworks that may not fully capture the complex interactions within the integrated landscape. The paper contributes to the existing knowledge by presenting a significant perspective on integrating Industry 5.0 in FinTech, addressing identified gaps, and outlining a future research agenda.
