The Impact of Using Virtual Reality in Business Sustainability

Using digital innovation to enhance business sustainability has become a critical focus for organizations. This study investigates the impact of virtual reality (VR) on training at the Saudi Arabian Drilling Academy, aiming to understand its influence on trainee satisfaction and its role in advancing business sustainability. Employing a literature review and a survey, the research reveals that VR enhances training effectiveness, engagement, and overall satisfaction, contributing positively to business sustainability. Findings emphasize the need for continued investment in VR technology integration into training programs, with a focus on establishing feedback mechanisms, regular updates, and support for trainers. The study recommends further research on the long-term effects of VR training, highlighting the importance of digital innovations for sustained improvement in learning outcomes and business sustainability.
