摘要

The role of AI in architectural education is becoming increasingly important, and this pilot study explores the acceptance of AI tools among female architecture students. Using the Technology Acceptance Model as a framework, the study aims to address the crucial need for gender equity and inclusivity in technology usage and education for sustainable approaches. Improving the gender-sensitive design of educational tools can enhance digital literacy among female architects, but current research lacks emphasis on gender considerations in technological advancement and education. This study fills this gap and examines female students’ perceptions of AI usage in architecture. Structural Equation Modeling is used to identify key factors influencing AI adoption, emphasizing the importance of positive attitudes and perceived ease of use. The study expands TAM and calls for further exploration of AI acceptance in architectural education, while providing preliminary recommendations for educators to consider ethical implications. Findings reveal the significance of user-friendly AI tools, influencing perceived usefulness and attitudes. The study expands TAM, calling for further exploration of multifaceted dynamics in AI acceptance in architectural education, offering preliminary recommendations for educators, considering ethical implications. Ultimately, it underscores the imperative for user-friendly AI tools, positive attitudes, and gender-sensitive approaches in fostering sustainability and inclusivity in architectural education.
