The Importance of Agile Management in the Banking Sector: The Case of the Kingdom of Bahrain

This study aims to investigate the influence of strategic agility practices on employee performance in the banking industry in Bahrain. Specifically, the research examines the role of strategic agility dimensions, namely strategic sensitivity, leadership, and resource fluidity, in achieving competitive advantage within the banking sector. To achieve the study objectives, a questionnaire was developed and administered to collect primary data for analysis, testing, and decision-making. The analytical descriptive method, employed in similar previous studies, was utilized to analyze the data using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program. The study findings reveal that strategic agility, encompassing its three dimensions, has a positive and significant impact on employee performance in the Bahraini banking industry. As a result, the study recommends that banks in Bahrain embrace a strategic agility approach to enhance employee performance and achieve sustainable competitive advantage.
