Home-based learning or home-schooling refers to learning from home rather than school. It is an acquiring education by children where parents or tutors teach them at home without going to school to attend the normal classes. It seems to be an opportunity to children to learn independently and to become more self-directed in their way of learning. This type of learning encourages the children to be flexible with their studies through engaging with the family and spending time for their own recreational activities or work. It promotes the involvement of parents in academic matters.
