Using Mobile Application Technology (M-learning) to Overcome Arabic and Dialect Declining Issues

Globalization has led to a decline in the usage of Arabic and regional dialects, with English being the dominant language in the Middle East due to its use in media, business, and education. Since Arabic is insignificant in ordinary interactions, this has sparked concerns about people's Arabic ability and the loss of Arab identity. The majority of the factors impacting the decline in the acquisition of Arabic, including dialect learning that resulted in identity loss, were reviewed in this study. Activists for language preservation and linguists have welcomed technology as a means of preserving dialects and languages, despite claims to the contrary. Since Arabic is insignificant in ordinary interactions, this has sparked concerns about people's Arabic ability and the loss of Arab identity. In this research, we suggest utilizing mobile applications that have demonstrated a significant enhancement in vocabulary education and acquisition towards language competency through the use of mobile learning, which aid in the preservation of Arabic and the native dialect in the kingdom of Bahrain.
