Noise Assessment Scenarios for New Airplane Climate Efficient Designs
摘要
The most direct measure of aircraft emissions impact is the actual ambient air quality change as measured near the engine emission’s source. Engine emission rate measurements may not reflect aircraft environmental impact. Factors contributing to this difference between published engine emission rates and measured air quality concentration include engine–airplane geometry, engine exhaust temperature, and wake dynamics. The supersonic aircraft is considerably different from other aircraft in this respect. For the results of the analysis of the studies made for Concorde Environmental Impact Assessment in US airports, three simplified cases were defined.
