Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer, Metastasis to the Thyroid, and Thyroid Lymphoma

Anaplastic thyroid cancer, metastatic disease to the thyroid, and thyroid lymphoma are all rare thyroid neoplasms. Compared to well-differentiated thyroid cancer, anaplastic thyroid cancer and thyroid lymphoma can both be aggressive cancers with rapidly expanding masses causing compressive symptoms as a unique patient presentation. In this chapter, we cover the basic workup and treatment of these three rare thyroid diseases.
