Authorities leverage these technologies to monitor watersheds, assess drought and flood risks, and gauge vital reservoir levels, enabling proactive responses. Artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms further refine these forecasts, facilitating informed decision-making to prevent water crises. The convergence of AI, data analytics, and sensor technology empowers real-time monitoring and control of water systems. Smart sensor networks, encompassing India’s infrastructure, offer continuous water distribution and quality tracking. The Internet of Things (IoT) fosters communication between various water management elements, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing losses.
