The above aside of Eugene Thacker’s in In the Dust of This Planet: Horror of Philosophy Vol. 1 is one prompt for this project, for in it there is an implicit recognition of the question of voice in terms of horror. Voice, in this sense, can be taken up to announce the horror of the subject: a confrontation with a lacuna, an epistemological—or ontological—crisis.
