A Sample of Problems Where Ulrich Bundles Show up

The goal of these notes is to show that Ulrich bundles are key objects in order to achieve the solution of very different problems. They were born in the realm of commutative algebra and we will see that they play an important role for instance in the solution of geometrical problems, they have connections with mathematical physics and have been used to better understand a problem in computer vision.
