Presentation of Central Nervous System Tumors
摘要
Presentation of central nervous system (CNS) tumors in children is variable. The differences in the presentation of supratentorial, infratentorial, and spinal tumors are discussed in this chapter. The pathophysiology of increased intracranial pressure clinical features is also reviewed. As infants present differently than older children due to their non-fused skull sutures, their specific signs and symptoms are outlined. Finally, clinical features of some syndromes associated with brain tumors are summarized.
