High Frequency Oscillation in Epilepsy: Review
摘要
This study provides a comprehensive review of the relevance of interictal high-frequency oscillations (HFOs) and highlights their key characteristics for the precise determination of the Epileptogenic Zone, a crucial element in the formulation of epilepsy surgery protocols. As part of the regional epilepsy surgery program, attention is frequently given to patients with refractory epilepsy, a large percentage of whom are candidates for surgery. HFOs play an indispensable role in surgical specificity, and their direct impact is closely linked to the success of the procedure. Therefore, this study reports on the research conducted by the team regarding HFOs, as well as the contributions obtained from the gathered information.
