Hierarchical Task Analysis for Collision Avoidance Warnings in Driving

摘要

The objective of this study is to investigate the effects of collision avoidance warnings in driving by employing a Hierarchical Task Analysis (HTA) technique. HTA dissects complex tasks into smaller, more manageable sub-tasks arranged hierarchically. The main goal of HTA for collision avoidance warnings is to understand the driving behavior patterns in response to collision avoidance warnings. The driving process was segmented into three primary sub-processes: perception, cognition, and motor processes. The perception and cognition processes were evaluated based on physiological responses, while physical actions were analyzed to understand motor processes. The results indicated that the driver's decisions significantly impacted the process pattern.
