摘要

This study aims to analyze methods that facilitate the measurement and acquisition of flow velocities in the great thoracic vessels using a conventional cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) protocol to generate the basis of a finite volume simulation. CMR has become an important tool in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, including coronary heart disease, myocardial and pericardial diseases and cardiac rhythm disorders, proving to be a useful technique in the assessment of cardiac function, identification of structural abnormalities and monitoring of treatments. The study of CMR has evolved and a variety of specialized techniques have emerged, such as phase contrast (PC) sequencing.
