摘要

This study employed a multi-sensory design approach to design a tangible interactive learning system for children’s art education. Through an analysis of current instances of digital art education, a multi-sensory tangible interaction system designed for youngsters between the ages of four and six is proposed. The design requirements are gathered through an online poll and the design direction are then decided. Subsequently, by adapting the Multi-sensory design method, seven design steps are introduced to facilitate the design process. These steps include selecting target expression, concept exploration, sensory exploration, sensory analysis, user interaction scenarios, model making, and multisensory presentation. This tangible interactive learning system integrates physical desks and interactive screens to offer a comprehensive learning experience. It aims to spark children’s curiosity and imagination in art education by incorporating a variety of sensory stimuli. By exploring the application of multi-sensory and tangible interaction systems in children’s art education, we hope to incorporate more interactive modalities into art teaching, providing children with diverse learning experiences to better meet their educational needs.
