摘要

As robotics tech progresses, robots’ role as everyday aids grows, spanning from companions to service bots. Beyond functionality, they must enhance human interaction. This study seeks to quantify how humans perceive robot personalities and adjust robot behavior accordingly. Using an octopus arm as the robot arm, researchers employed regression analysis to model how personality traits affect its posture. They developed a formula linking “openness” and “neuroticism” to the arm's bending angle, aligning postures with perceived personality traits. This framework aims to guide future research on human-robot emotional interaction.
