Winning the Win—Case Studies of Success Implementing the Inflation Reduction Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Legislation

In November 2021, President Biden signed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), commonly known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), followed by other landmark legislation such as the Inflation Reduction Act, and the CHIPS and Science Act. This package of legislation unlocked a wealth of federal climate infrastructure funding. Five case studies from the Appalachian region illustrate the success of these initiatives.
