Among the most promising technologies in the environmental sustainability framework, it is necessary to introduce electric transportation. In this first chapter, an introduction to the numerous technologies related to electric transportation (both private and public) will be presented. The technical characteristics of electric vehicles (EVs), charging stationsCharging- station (CS) (CSs), batteries, and technologies such as the vehicle-to-gridVehicle-To-Grid (V2G) (V2G) will be described.
