Wireless Remote Control Systems of Marine Diesel Engine
摘要
A wireless system for energy equipment remote control in the Technical operation of fleet department laboratory of the National University «Odesa Maritime Academy» was developed. An emergency diesel generator from the Kohler company, specially adapted for marine conditions, was used in the project. The main goal of the study was to determine the technical capabilities of the developed wireless remote control scheme, which was integrated into the automatic control system of the ship’s emergency diesel generator. The work justified and proved the need to modernize the control system in conditions of full-scale war and to provide electricity during missile attacks, when the national energy company turns off the power in order to reduce the emergency failure of its equipment, which is capable of displaying the technological process in real time with the help of mobile devices. The developed structural scheme of the modernized system of monitoring and control of emergency diesel generator parameters was tested in laboratory conditions. The necessary equipment was also selected, in particular, a programmable logic controller with a built-in Web server from the Phoenix Contact company using the PLCNEXT ENGINEER software environment. The tests that were conducted proved that the selected equipment is able to effectively display in real time the processes occurring during the operation of the emergency diesel generator.
