Fundamentals of Open Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is art and science, and as such there is no single brush or single canvas to paint on. Therefore, knowledge of the different approaches is key since it is the first step, the first surgical gesture. In my beginnings, I performed a closed approach, marginal in all cases, with more than 3000 rhinoplasties by this means. One day, when the surgery was over, I decided to cut the skin flap and see. The surprise was huge.
