Fundamentals of Pharyngoesophageal and Voice Reconstruction
摘要
The goals of pharyngoesophageal and voice reconstruction are to restore alimentary continuity, PO intake, intelligible speech, and provide soft tissue coverage of critical structures of the neck. These are complex defects, and while several local and regional reconstructive options exist, microvascular reconstruction has become the primary reconstructive modality in recent years. In this chapter, the authors provide a comprehensive review of pharyngoesophageal and voice reconstruction including a review of locoregional anatomy, indications and goals for reconstruction, and reconstructive options. The authors provide an in-depth review of the locoregional and microvascular options including technical pearls, complication profile review.
