Fundamentals of Cheek Reconstruction
摘要
Cheek reconstruction represents a challenge for plastic surgeons. There are several factors that must be taken into account before performing it: an adequate knowledge of the surgical anatomy is mandatory, recognize the different surgical options for reconstruction, detect the comorbidities of patients, and the different risk factors that may affect the procedure. Many procedures are available for cheek reconstruction from primary intention wound closure to microsurgical free flaps. This chapter will attempt to provide a concise overview of cheek reconstruction.
