Fundamentals of Skin Grafts
摘要
Since the origin of plastic surgery, grafts and flaps have been the most important pillars of all types of surgical reconstructions. A graft is defined as a section of the skin that is completely detached from its original site and vascularity and tranferred and used to replace diseased or injured tissue removed. The characteristics of each graft can vary according to the reconstructive requirements, and, hence, there are different ways to classify them. This chapter will attempt to provide a concise overview of skin grafts.
