Fundamentals of Forehead Reconstruction

Forehead reconstruction is challenging since there are a limited number of locoregional options and often the aesthetic sequelae are hard, if not impossible, to conceal. Knowing the anatomical limits, it’s possible to improve the results by doing a subunit reconstruction approach. This chapter will focus on the description of the forehead’s anatomy and the reconstructive options available to most plastic surgeons.
