An Easy-to-Use Experimental Platform for Advanced Control Teaching in Wuhan University
摘要
In the field of control engineering education, applying theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios is essential, allowing students to reinforce their understanding of the curricula. Based on feedback from control engineering students, it is evident that implementing and validating advanced algorithms in physical test rigs poses challenges for students due to their limited knowledge of embedded development. In light of these challenges, an easy-to-use experimental platform covering the entire control process (e.g., graphical algorithm building, simulation of mathematical models for advanced test rigs, and monitoring of these test rigs) is crucial for control engineering education. Therefore, this paper proposes an easy-to-use experimental platform for verifying advanced algorithms in physical test rigs. This allows students to focus solely on designing control algorithms without being burdened by the complexities of developing the experimental setup. An experimental case with this platform is conducted to illustrate its usage and advantages, particularly in the context of control education.
