Right Femoral Vein in Pediatrics
摘要
The femoral vein is a commonly utilized vessel, particularly in emergency situations, due to its anatomically consistent location with few anatomical variations. The technique I present in this chapter involves a long-axis (LAX) view puncture to perform an ultrasound-guided dynamic needle tracking (DNT), facilitating real-time tracking of the entire trajectory of the introducer needle until the vein is cannulated. The most challenging aspect of this technique is achieving precise alignment of the introducer needle with the transducer’s insonation area; mastering this step significantly reduces the risk of inadvertently puncturing the posterior wall.
