Diversity and Inclusion in Indigenous Ethnic Research During the Digital Age

摘要

In today’s rapidly evolving digital and high-tech environment, organizations and universities have realized the power and critical importance of diversity and inclusion initiatives. This chapter aims to provide an analysis in conducting research studies on diversity and inclusion toward indigenous and ethnic minorities in Vietnam as the country has gradually become involved in the digital transformation age. The development of ethnic policies in Vietnam has been established in a systematic approach, resulting in some significant academic achievements. In identifying and discussing the key elements of diversity and inclusion, the chapter specifically addresses issues of conducting research studies during digital transformation. Engaging in self and methodological reflections, the researcher discusses challenges and opportunities in research work on diversity and inclusion of indigenous and ethnic minority groups. The chapter points out that various multiple research approaches are required in the field of diversity and inclusion toward indigenous and ethnic minorities and concludes with recommendations for further research studies and policy implications.
