Study of Power Parameters of the Screw Spirals Forming

摘要

Based on the study of the technological processes of screw spirals manufacturing, the article derives analytical and empirical dependencies for calculating the bending moment, force and design parameters of the screw spirals manufacturing process by the method of tape winding using a forming tool with a rotating sleeve, which allows distributing the load on the forming rollers. The forming tool with a rotating sleeve for screw spirals winding is designed. The analytical dependence for determining the thickness of the spiral after forming by winding method is developed. The bending moment and force parameters for screw spirals winding are determined. The experimental study of the screw spirals winding processes by the forming tool with a rotating sleeve is conducted. After processing the experimental data, the regression equations have been obtained. The response surfaces and two-dimensional cross-sections of the response surfaces of the dependence of the tape winding bending moment on the outer radius of the mandrel, tape thickness, and tape width for 08kp steel and St 3 steel are presented.
