Applying A/r/tographic Renderings to Teachers’ Works
摘要
This chapter analyses each of the renderings, including presence, with particular attention to their contribution to teaching practice, and the teacher/participants highlight the inter-relationship between the choreographic and teaching practices. The data that has been collected and analysed in this chapter indicates connections between the codified materials provided to the teacher/participants and evidence of understandings as artists, learners and teachers. The outcomes of the teacher/participants’ learning are demonstrated both through their choreographed work and through their understandings discussed within their interviews. They apply the theory to their artistic approaches and experiences, and are able to articulate their knowledge and understanding clearly. The chapter opening figure demonstrates simple movement that can have strong effects. The various data sources, their work, their use and reliance on the online material, and their capacity to reflect disparate concepts both new and revisited, are all discussed.
