The Teachers’ Works
摘要
This chapter offers background and insight into the exploration of originally choreographed dance works. ITE programmes are increasingly being delivered online. For the tertiary arts education sector, and dance in particular, this presents a unique challenge, given the strong reliance on physical instruction, direct technical immediate feedback and communication of emotional intent required to perform the work. The eight data events drawn upon in this chapter are considered and represented through the elements of choreographic practice and a/r/tographic renderings. The teaching and learning that occurred during these events contributed to the emergent understanding of new and renewed concepts in dance education. The chapter opening figure offers an example of how teaching, learning and choreographing occur.
