Knowledge Service Optimization Based on Human Factors Engineering - Focusing on the Elderly Reader Group in Libraries

In the era of digital intelligence, the elderly population aged 60 and above faces considerable challenges in acquiring and utilizing knowledge. This article takes library elderly readers as the target group, uses the theoretical methods of human factors engineering, and conducts in-depth research on the knowledge needs of the elderly population. It proposes an optimized knowledge service strategy for the elderly population, providing theoretical and practical guidance for the aging design of knowledge services. For the elderly population, the key to knowledge service lies in presenting knowledge in a form that fits their cognitive characteristics and understanding methods, helping them to acquire and utilize knowledge more efficiently. To this end, this article has designed a library aging-friendly knowledge service platform, promoting the structural reform of the knowledge service supply side by optimizing the presentation channels of knowledge content, structure, application, and evaluation. This not only promotes the deep integration and development of resources but also realizes the rapid implementation of service innovation concepts, ultimately building a high-quality knowledge service ecosystem.
