Classification and Uniqueness of Black Hole Solutions in Vacuum

We discuss the classification of the five-dimensional black holes in vacuum in the static and the stationary and axisymmetric case focussing on asymptotically flat solutions. The corresponding uniqueness theorems are presented in detail. We introduce the concept of interval structure which is necessary for the classification of the axisymmetric solutions since the conserved charges fail to determine them uniquely.
