The Submission Process
摘要
There are many criteria for selecting a suitable journal to submit a manuscript to. Journals can be open access, free for all to read and paid by the authors, or the articles are available only to their subscribers. All good journals have a selection procedure that includes peer-review. Journals are ranked according to their citation index, a measure of how often articles in that journal are quoted. Most journals have a specific scope; therefore, a paper can be matched according to the subject. Once the journal is chosen, make sure the manuscript adheres to the formatting and all instructions for authors of that particular journal. Rejection is common, acceptance without modifications is very rare. When acceptance depends on the requested modifications, take these seriously and do not leave any comment unaddressed.
