Development of Fuzzy Controlled Five Level Modular Multilevel Converter for Grid Tied PV System

-The main objective of this work is to evaluate the configurations of the current MMIs when applied to solar power applications. The article seeks to provide an in-depth analysis of the several contemporary sub module circuits connected to MMI topologies. Uncertain reasoning are closely at maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control strategies for PV inverters. Subsequently, an in-depth discussion of the sub module balancing procedures, ranges, and capacities under balanced and unbalanced grid settings will be provided by presenting and contrasting the various control strategies of PV MMIs. It is determined that when compared to a normal PI controller, the fuzzy controlled system performs better and has a lower THD value of 2.44% and less settling time of 0.37 s. Matlab Simulink programme is utilized to construct this work.
